Create Developer App

Before using Palactix APIs, you need to create a developer app.

This app represents your integration and is used to generate API credentials.

Step 1: Open Developer Portal

Go to:

Create your Developer App

Step 2: Create a New App

Fill in the required details:

• App Name (required)
• Logo (optional)

Click Create App

Step 3: Verify Your App

To activate your app, you must verify at least one platform.

Verification happens when you:

• Add platform credentials
• Successfully connect your own account via OAuth

Until then, your app remains in draft mode

Step 4: Generate API Credentials

Once verified:

• You can generate your client_id
• You can generate your client_secret

⚠️ Important:

• The client_secret is shown only once
• Store it securely
• You can regenerate it later (old tokens will be revoked)

What You Get

After setup:

• client_id → Public identifier
• client_secret → Private credential

These are used to generate API tokens.
