Connection Flow
This explains what happens internally during a connection.
Full Flow
1. Your backend requests OAuth URL
2. Palactix creates connection_id
3. User is redirected to platform
4. User grants permission
5. Platform redirects back
6. Palactix exchanges tokens
7. Accounts are fetched
8. Connection marked as success
Behind the Scenes
During this process:
- OAuth tokens are securely stored
- Platform APIs are called
- Multiple accounts may be discovered
- Data is normalized
Failure Cases
Connection may fail if:
- User cancels OAuth
- Invalid credentials
- Platform errors
- Permission issues
Connection Status
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| pending | OAuth not completed |
| success | Accounts fetched |
| failed | Error occurred |
