Connect Account

To connect a user’s social account, generate an OAuth redirect URL and send the user to it.

Step 1: Generate OAuth URL

Use the API:

Step 2: Redirect User

Redirect the user to the redirect_url returned by the API.

https://platform.com/oauth/authorize?client_id=xxx&redirect_uri=xxx

Step 3: User Authorizes

The user:

• Logs in to the platform
• Grants permission
• Gets redirected back

Step 4: Connection Created

After OAuth:

• Palactix processes tokens
• A connection is created
• Accounts are stored

What You Already Have

• connection_id (from step 1)
